Restaurant El Greco in Norderney

Respect, it's mega yummy. I took the gratinated gyros in Metaxa sauce and it definitely tasted like more. Also very well gratinated with plenty of cheese. Even the rice, some would say it's just rice, turned out very well and rounded off the whole dish with its own taste. Super, mega yummy !!! The portion is big enough to fill a good eater like me. And I also took pizza rolls with gyros. Also very recommendable! I had the same meal at competitor Greeks on the island last week and it was horrible. The rice tasted like nothing, was just red, the gyros in Metaxa sauce were also very bland and the portion was pretty measly for the same price, but only half. After a short time I was hungry again. Doesn't work at all ... 😒 I'm excited about El Greco and I will definitely come again! Thank you ... 😁

We dined as a family and were looking forward to a cozy evening. When the drinks were served, the coke slipped out of the hand of the waitress and spilled on my and my daughter's clothes. Happens! However, I was firmly expecting that something would come up. But when we got the invoice, the normal invoice amount was asked. Since we didn't want to spoil the mood, I paid morosely. But since it annoyed me immensely, when I go out I went to the boss again to draw his attention to the fact that my daughter's pants, shoes and doll were soaking wet and that I would have liked a little bit of accommodation. But instead of apologizing, the boss reacted polemically and showed me a bird with the words whether I wanted to eat for free ‘. He would have handed us an ouzo (which everyone got). A real outrage, since further planned actions had to be canceled that evening!

Fries okay, the rest just dry and not edible. Immediately snapped at criticism and the gentleman was loud. Never again !

Even without a reservation you are welcome in this restaurant and receive a very friendly welcome. Prices as well as the food are great ..... always happy to eat here .... 5 stars from us.

Unfortunately not to be recommended. There were three tables left outside. Unfortunately not for us. When asked, it was said that there were no more tables available, although we had been told shortly beforehand that reservations could not be made outside. So there are good and very good customers here. Despite Corona, the landlord seems to be doing so well that the customers can be selected again. The Greek Delphi, on the other hand, is highly recommended and extremely friendly.

Unfortunately a rather moderate restaurant experience. Service questionable, several guests who came clearly after us were served first. Mediocre taste. At the end we were told that EC card payment was possible, but not desired. Conclusion: I would not go again

Good Greek with reasonable prices. If you fancy typical Greek cuisine on vacation.

It tasted very good and the portions were generous. The service is very friendly, we would love to come back.

Get a seat without a reservation. Prices are usually a bit higher than on the mainland. Very large servings. You get full. I couldn't eat my portion of liver. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and you are served quickly. Incidentally, toilets are also exemplary clean. All in all a tip for good food on the island.

Very nice staff and really child friendly. Food has always been delicious, both the main course and the coleslaw. Take hygiene very seriously in times of Corona. Price performance fits. Always happy.

We visited this restaurant before 2 months all was fantastic!!! The food, the hospitality, the atmosphere and the people!!! The best place to visit for food in the island!!!

Nice and clean Greek restaurant. The staff is very nice and friendly as well as very attentive. Also for fun. The food tasted great and is well prepared for the eye. 1Stern I prefer for the coleslaw from. It is not typical Greek.

We had dinner here. The restaurant makes a decent impression. The service was very friendly and quick. The dishes were delicious and freshly prepared. The advantages of the kitchen are particularly evident when it comes to the details, such as the in-house tzatziki or the sheep's cheese and garlic sauce. So if you like Greek cuisine, as it is typically offered in Germany, you are in good hands here.

Nice Greek restaurant. Very nice staff. We had Souvlaki and Bifteki. Both very good, except for the side salad. It's a simple coleslaw from the bucket. It's a shame actually. But the rest was great.
